I’m catching Ingrid Bergman night on TCM. Just saw Casablanca, which I had the good fortune to flip to just in time for the moving “La Marseillaise” scene, and now it’s Bergman + Hitchcock in Notorious. HELLS YEAH. (Her people? Also Nordic.)

Just have to say, quickly, that Mad Men is absolutely the business. If you haven’t seen this show yet, snap to it! The new season is now airing on AMC, but I suggest, as always, starting with the beginning. DVDs are now out, or you can just buck the system and download it. I’m currently about halfway through season one, and I will have more to say about this soon!

haha, yeah, i totally thought of you when she said that! she was such an ice queen, like your people. good episode last night–did draper literally grab that dumb comedian’s wife by the short and curlies, or did he do something even more horrifying that i don’t want to think about in that one scene? all i could think about was WHERE IS HIS HAND!!!
OMG, I know. That scene was troubling at best! I just wanted him to go wash up afterward, because ewww and ack and etc. And then he was all putting his arm around Betty in the car, and I was like, does Betty know what he has been doing with that hand?!
